The soldier's name is St Pierre. He was an American assigned to an Aussie at Binh Gia. The two of them lived with the villagers there. This is the rubber plantation where the Frenchman lived. We would go there daily to get our drinking water. The maids would give me a coke with ice and St Pierre a beer....well,maybe a couple.

Cleaning weapon before getting on helicopter to MACV Headquarters in Saigon. The next day I'll be flying home to America. Put my best jungle fatigues on for the journey. I didn't want any hassles while in Saigon.
