I had been in country a few weeks and was sick. I had chills and couldn't stay warm. Even though it's hot there, I still couldn't stay warm with a T-shirt and sleeves down. The fever finally went away.

Lt.Smith (?) was the liaison officer from the

11th cav.. stationed at Blackhorse North of us. He's trying to read a book, but the kids kept bothering him.

A couple of Aussie's from Nui Dat.I think they worked in the radio room there. They came to see me. We each had something to trade. By the way guys, I still have them.
