eat whatever we gave them. The smaller of the two was
literally starving to death. We later gave them soap,
clothing, and food. When they came back we found out
that their father sold everything. Sgt Lee was mad and
went to confront their father. An argument ensued and
their father pulled his weapon to shoot Sgt Lee. A Vietnamese Lt. grabbed the M-1 carbine to stop him, but was shot in the hand. The family slipped out of the compound that night and wasn't heard of again.
