The above photo shows a flame thrower burning  brush in the mine field around Duc Thanh. I don't remember if the flame thrower was from the Austlian Task Force  or the 11th Cav located North of us at Xuan Loc.

The road is route 2; North looking South. 
This young girl was in her front yard riding her tricycle when she spotted us approach her house. The village was located South of Nui Dat.
Sgt. Minh ( our interpreter ) holding our newly issued 3.5 rocket launcher. There were reports of North Vietnameese tanks in our area as early as 1966. This was suppose to stop them if they showed up some night.
