Lt. Phuong was the I&R Platoon leader. With the character and competence that he displayed as a leader encouraged his men and me to followed him anywhere, except down the aisle. He was married October 1969. It was a nice wedding and I spent the next morning recovering from a serious case of cognac overdose. Around the same time as the wedding, he was promoted to Captain.
