Snow still on the ground, I couldn't wait to try the oven.
While new to cooking with a Dutch oven, I'm having a great time trying new dishes. This one pictured here is a roast. The first meal we cooked in it. The roast was marinated for 2 days in a baggy. One day would have been good, but the wind was blowing to hard. I then put everything in the oven. After the meat was cooked, I made a gravy out of the marinate sauce.
I have more receipes to try, but want to get a smaller dutch oven to fit in the kayak better.
I hope to have more photos later of kayaking trips, flyfishing, and cooking this coming year in 2005.
